That’s right it is official. The Bangalore Dive Club has been launched. It was a fun affair and we managed to pull off a coup by getting the PADI Vice President to get the club officially launched. Many divers were there to show their support and everyone had a great time. Thanks to all who made it happen.

To whom it may concern:
My name is Shawn Genomal, I am currently a PADI certified Advanced level diver and I’ve been looking for information about diving in India for quite some time now.
How do I get in touch with the Bangalore Dive Club and how do I go about joining this club? There doesn’t appear to be any contact numbers or websites I can visit other than this one that features the Bangalore Dive club.
Any and all information would be of great help.
Thanks and best regards
~Shawn

Query,
I might sound stupid, but
is swimming a prerequisite for scuba diving ??? ;
Thanks in Advance
raja
Hi Raja,
That doesn’t sound stupid at all. knowing how to swim would help. but you don’t have to be an olympic level swimmer. just be able to tread water and know enough swimming to survive is all there is to it.
Is there a certain age to join the scuba club??
Hey Vanmayi!
Anyone who wants to learn how to dive must be above 10 years old.
