The CRABE MK2 (Complete Range Autonomous Equipment Mark 2) is the second generation back mounted mechanical deep-diving-mine countermeasures apparatus, designed for intensive use. The CRABE MK2 has seen improvements to the breathing performances over the previous CRABE mod0. This rebreather operates in semi closed circuit with predetermined gases, Nitrox or Trimix and pure Oxygen for deco-stops. The CRABE MK2 is a semi-closed circuit rig that use the highly reliable variable volume principle (proportional leak) to accurately and safely maintain the diver’s PpO2.
