Features:
The main features of the video monitor display (15.6” top screen) are:
- Viewing live feeds from the two HD camera sources – one in the front of the ROV and one mounted at the rear
- The on-screen live feeds can instantly be swapped between the two cameras
- Both feeds can be viewed simultaneously via Picture-in-Picture (PIP).
- A semi-translucent graphical overlay, which can be toggled on/off, shows ROV critical operational data, such as heading, depth, and water temperature.
- A system status bar displays currently active alerts and connection status of system components (ROV, GPS, gamepad)
- Playback of stored videos and images
When using the control monitor (12.1” touchscreen), the end-user has:
- An intuitive user experience using a touch interface
- A ‘dashboard’ page for top-level telemetry information
- Dark/light color themes
Advanced Propulsion System
- Powered by seven vectored thrusters: Four horizontal vectored thrusters for omni-directional movement and in-place rotation. Three vertical thrusters for lift, dive, pitch, and trim control
- Delivers 2x the power of the SeaLion-2 predecessor
- Allows hovering, 360° rotation, and precise control in tight spaces
User-Friendly Controls
- Operated via a standard Logitech USB game controller (included): Left joystick: Controls horizontal motion (forward/reverse, turning) while Right joystick: Controls vertical motion (up/down and lateral movement)
Topside Control Unit (TCU)
- Equipped with a 15.6″ TFT Active-Matrix LCD Panel (1920 x 1080 Full HD): Displays live video feeds and recorded media
- Includes a 12.1″ touchscreen LCD control monitor for intuitive system control
Comprehensive Dashboard Interface
- Displays real-time operational data: ROV heading and orientation, Power status and diagnostics, Component status overview
- Keeps users fully informed and in control during missions
